Mallari 02/12/2010 The Supreme Court has directed the military to produce the 43 health workers taken into custody over the weekend at Camp Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal province after the high tribunal granted a petition for habeas corpus filed on their behalf. “We find that petitioners’ verified allegations provide sufficient justification for the court to issue the writ of habeas corpus which extends to all cases of illegal confinement or detention by which any person is deprived of his liberty,” the high court, in its six-page order, yesterday said.
