Edsa’s potholes SHE SAYS Dinah S. Ventura 02/24/2010 Lest the new Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman reacts to the title of this humble piece, allow me to clarify that this has nothing to do with any broken pieces of cement on the road where millions pass through everyday. This has more to do with the broken dreams and promises that have floated on Edsa for over 20 years now, ever since that day when Filipinos had their proudest day in history. Back in 1986, those who experienced the triumph on Edsa probably never imagined that they would find themselves some 24 years later feeling cheated by fate.
