Bacolod studes eye to break world record on aerobic exercise
02/09/2012Some 80,0000 elementary and high school students will do the “Jam Step” on Sunday in their determined bid to break a Guinness Book of World Record currently held by China in the single aerobic exercise category.
Former 1998 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Jewel May Lobaton-Pimentel, wife of Sen. Koko Pimentel and head of the “Ang Batang Pinoy Movement,’’ told a press briefing held yesterday at a Quezon City restaurant that the record-breaking attempt will be held at the 21-hectare old airport in Bacolod City.
She clarified that the targeted participants who will come from Bacolod ’s schools will exclude for obvious reason kindergarten and Grades 1 to 3 students, meaning those who can join are from Grade 4 to 4th year high school..... MORE
