Lim commemorates US Governor Harrison’s death anniversary
11/22/2011Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim remembered Filipino loving United States Gov. Gen. Francis Burton Harrison by commemorating his 54th death anniversary with the participation of Consul General of the United States of America Embassy, Michael Schimmel at the Manila North Cemetery.
“Harrison was fair to Filipinos whom he gave many opportunities to start meaningful careers in the civil service. Thanks to the well-educated and cultured government official, which Manila can boast of an outstanding heritage edifice,” Lim said.
