House majority to dump impeachment vs Aquino
By Gerry Baldo 11/18/2011Allies of President Aquino are set to dump any impeachment complaint that could be filed by allies of former president and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo in connection with the government’s refusal to allow her to travel.
According to House majority leader Neptali Gonzales II if the allies of Mrs. Arroyo are serious in filing an impeachment complaint against President Aquino, the majority bloc is also ready to dump the impeachment complaint.
“If they are seriously considering filing an impeachment case, then we are seriously opposing,” Gonzales said yesterday.
