Angie runs amuck

The group of embattled Gloria champion, Angie Reyes, made a bizarre proposal yesterday to inhibit four senators from the ongoing Senate blue ribbon committee probe into military corruption.
Reyes wanted Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada, Senators Miriam Defensor Santiago, Antonio Trillanes lV and Francis “Chiz” Escudero to inhibit themselves from the Senate probe.
Reyes’ demand was a first for the chamber and also was at the top of the list among the absurdities leveled against senators.
It was both a crazy and a desperate act of Reyes. His counsel knows that the Senate inquiry is not a judicial process but is legislative in nature, thus, the argument of alleged prejudgment against the senators cannot apply since it is not the chamber’s duty to pass judgment.
Reyes, the first chief of staff under Gloria, initially got the heat by association, over the plunder case of former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller Maj. Gen. The Armed Forces of the Pathetic can implode anytime it wants, I don't care.
Kabaklaan ang mga pa iyak iyakan sa senado. Drama..ingay.. taas kilay.. nothing new in these investigations.

Resource persons must now cry? Is that the standard? Because if it is, then they are either paid character assasins, or they do not have evidence to support their allegations. Mendoza's former colleagues dropped her like a hot potato. Col. Lim is retirable and said nothing but his "feeling" which did not point to any direction for the investigation to move forward. Rabusa was involved in the RSBS, will not speak what he spoke unless he has imunity.
It all boils down to credibility of the witness. No serious effort will be done against Reyes et al. because these politicians need Reyes as a dart board from time to time. And the practice of "pabaon" will be renamed several times over. Oh yes..Gen David wants it, he will get it, he did not make general for being an air head.
