focus 04/14/2010 WARSAW — The death of Poland’s President Lech Kaczynski in a plane disaster will be particularly traumatic for his identical twin Jaroslaw because of the deep personal and political bonds between them, experts say. Jaroslaw Kaczynski has maintained a largely stoic face in public since Lech and 95 others were killed in an air crash Saturday. He must, however, bear the family burden as well as the pain of a nation. “The death of one twin is an enormous trauma for the surviving twin. The emotional shock is much greater than among non-twin siblings,” said Witold Malinowski, an expert on twins at Poland’s Pomeranian Academy of Medicine....
