Not a command vote EDITORIAL Click to enlarge 02/17/2010 Manny Villlar and Loren Legarda, both senators who are aspiring for the presidency and vice presidency, respectively, insist that, given the many pro-Villar “clues” handed out by El Shaddai leader Bro. Mike Velarde to his Hong Kong flock, it is they are the anointed bets of the Catholic charismatic leader and his flock for the May 10, 2010 polls. Velarde, for his part, denied that he had endorsed the two, saying that he and his flock would know just which bets they will be supporting come Easter Sunday. But he was probably trying to be cute in his denials. On the part of Lakas-Kampi presidential candidate, Gilbert Teodoro, he says he is the anointed of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Christ sect, as he has already been prayed over by the Davao pastor, apart from seeking the prayers for the success of Teodoro....
