Erap trims frontrunners’ lead — The Center poll By Charlie V. Manalo 02/22/2010 A survey conducted by The Center showed former President Joseph Estrada inching closer to the two frontrunners in the May 10 presidential elections, who the result showed, are slugging it out neck-and-neck. At the weekly Balitaan sa Tinapayan, Ed Malay, executive director of The Center presented the survey results held from Feb. 1 to 8 showing Nacionalista Party (NP) standard bearer Sen. Manuel Villar Jr. and Liberal Party (LP) top bet Sen. Benigno Aquino III both garnering 27 percent approval from 1,800 respondents. Estrada got 17 percent cutting down the lead of the frontrunners by only 10 percentage points from 13 points previously...
