Choose wisely SHE SAYS Dinah S. Ventura 02/22/2010 As the weeks race by and the elections draw nearer, the voting public remains torn between personal belief and strategy. What I mean is, many people (based on all random interviews conducted in the last couple of weeks) are still undecided about their choices. Almost all of them say they are still weighing the candidates’ merits and finding each of them wanting in certain respects. Many of them are contemplating settling for the lesser of all evils, so to speak, yet are unwilling to take such risks. Clearly, no one wants a repeat of the last decade, when hopes were pinned on one imagined savior, and as the years went by were summarily dashed. And the thing is, the main character in the telenovela that became our lives in the Philippines apparently wants another go at it....
