Erap camp junks Pulse, SWS surveys By Gerry Baldo 02/11/2010 The public pulse on the ground is not reflective of the so-called non-commissioned surveys. The Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) yesterday expressed serious doubts on the results of various surveys conducted by polling firms, saying that the findings are not reflective of what is happening on the ground. According to PMP presidential candidate former President Joseph Estrada and PMP senatorial candidate Francisco “Kit” Tatad, there is clearly a big disparity between the reception of the people from the publicized survey results showing voter preferences for candidates for the presidency, vice presidency and the Senate. “I’m surprised at the results of the surveys, because on the ground, the people have not changed toward me ...the reception is very warm,” Estrada said in an interview at the Urdaneta City University where his entourage landed for a provincial swing that included a courtesy call on Mayor Amadito Perez of Urdaneta City and a motorcade through the towns of Calasiao, Sta. Barbara, Bayambang, San Carlos City, San Fabian and a visit to the Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine....
