Lower courts can’t issue TROs vs government projects — SC
Benjamin B. Pulta 05/20/2012The Supreme Court has upheld a law prohibiting lower courts from issuing a restraining order on national government projects.
In a decision, the high court’s First Division through Associate Justice Lucas Bersamin denied a suit filed by a government supplier, Nerwin Industries Corp. against the Philippine National Oil Corp.-Energy Development Corp. (PNOC-EDC).
