Coups are a thing of the past. So are people power revolts.

But if Noynoy’s yellow army thinks it has the Filipino people on its side in its threat to do an “Occupy SC” a la Occupy Wall Sreet in the United States, in Noynoy’s move to ensure the ouster of the CJ and get his way with the high court, he and his yellow army should have another think coming to them.

But say they can stage yet another revolt to oust the CJ in the event he is acquitted by the Senate, just what is the alternative? Appointing Justice Antonio Carpio or even Justice Lourdes Sereno, or a still unknown outsider as the next chief justice?.... MORE
