One doesn’t need a survey disclosing the deteriorating numbers of hungry and impoverished Filipinos to see the truth of the increasing poverty that stalks the nation.
And one also knows that no matter the propaganda of the Dinkys of this world on the “success” of her conditional cash transfer (CCT) political doleout project that throws away billions in taxpayers’ money, the so-called poorest of the poor have become even poorer because obviously, the CCT program is a big failure to bring down the poverty numbers in the country.
Whatever the poor get through the CCT never really is utilized for its purpose. Children still do not get to school and pregnant mothers do not have these health check-ups, nor do the poor have enough to eat. Instead the money they are supposed to be receive go elsewhere — to get themselves TV sets or some other stuff as they sell their ATMs to get these non essentials or the husbands spend the money on drinking binges..... baka naman puro sa pagkain lang at hindi sa health check-ups dahil napakamahal ng pagkain talaga. pero pwede yang pinangiinom lang ni asawang lalaki....

"The fact that there is that admission from the CCT chief that the program lacks monitoring is already an admission of failure of the program — especially as Dinky Soliman has been given, apart from the P23 billion in CCT funds, a P4 billion budget for staffing purposes."
