With the way President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino is managing (or mismanaging) the country’s affairs, it won’t be long before even his closest allies start abandoning him.
The statement issued by Sen. Ralph Recto warning Noynoy that his underspending of the government’s budget, aggravated not only by his failure to arrest the continuing rise of prices of basic commodities, as well as instigating this by imposing new taxes and recalling government subsidies, clearly expresses the frustrations of even the closest allies of the President on his self-styled governmental management.
While trying to sound as if he understands Noynoy’s concern on the alleged misuse of government funds of the previous administration, Recto said that as the year is fast approaching the fourth quarter, his own administration should by now have come up with the idea on how to spend its budget to spur economic growth.....
