Jocson, who is also a scuba diver, said the order to tighten the watch against tropical fish smuggling was issued by Tawi-Tawi Gov. Sadikul Sahali aimed to protect the marine resources of the province. However, Jocson said no one among the people responsible in the illegal gathering of the tropical fishes was arrested since they fled “upon sensing our presence.”
