40 sex den workers rescued, seven pimps arrested in Makati
06/18/2011Inquest proceedings have been initiated against seven individuals suspected of acting as pimps for more than three dozens sex workers in Makati City.
An Inter Agency Council Against Trafficking in Persons composite team rescued 45 sex workers and arrested pimps and employees in a house used as a sex den at 2061 Edison st., Barangay San Isidro, Makati City.
The team led by National Inter-Agency Task Force Against Trafficking chief Fiscal Jonathan Lledo, personnel from the Women and Child Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group headed by Senior Supt.
