RP gets 5 second-hand ‘Hueys’ from US

Air Force spokesman Lt. Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol yesterday said US Ambassador Harry Thomas will formally turn over the five Hueys to Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Ricardo David Jr.
The Air Force acquired the five newly refurbished UH-1Hs through President of the United States (Potus) Program. They were part of the commitment made by former President George W. Bush to the Philippine government during his term..... MORE
