Ship with 24 Chinese crew sinks off Batanes; 10 missing

Ten Chinese crew members were missing after their vessel sank in the waters off the Philippines, the Philippine Coast Guard and police yesterday said.

The Panamanian cargo vessel m/v Hong Wei, with 24 Chinese crewmen, sank off the Batanes islands around 3:20 p.m. Friday.
