Time to rid the country of colors

EDITORIAL Click to enlarge 03/17/2010 Finally, Manila is being rid of the Cory-Ninoy banners and yellow ribbons tied in trees and lampposts that have ungainly dotted the Manila landscape for so long that it was evident these were being used by the Liberal Party (LP) and its standard bearer, Noynoy Aquino, as campaign materials.  Notice too, that it is only in Manila that these banners and yellow ribbons surfaced, since the mayor of Manila is allied with the LP bet. It is clearly a shameless way to keep on using the Cory-Ninoy banners and yellow ribbons as campaign materials for the LP standard bearer, who appears to have no qualms about using his parents as campaign props, since he apparently can’t stand on his own merit....
