Villar’s drop. Nacionalista Party’s brain trust as well as other political analysts are asking why NP presidential candidate Manny Villar suffered a big drop of 6 percent in the latest Pulse Asia survey. The consensus among advertising executives is that his huge TV advertising has reached a saturation point. The drop also gives traction to the charge of overspending and a crude attempt to buy the presidency. This, in turn, leads to the question of how the billions he is spending on his campaign will be recovered.
