Let’s not blink HE SAYS Aldrin Cardon 11/30/2009 In a war between two clans, whose presence and leadership do not really count for Maguindanao’s progress as there is very little? — or none at all — suffered by generations of its people continually mired in poverty, which was clearly brought about by the lack of attention they get from a national government centered only in Luzon and the Visayas, the 29 or so journalists who died in the carnage of Nov. 23 are just collateral damage if not for the vigilance of their peers, both at home and overseas.
