No Cha-cha, but rigodon
They call it rigodon — the dance of changing partners, but in the political world there is nothing remotely graceful about this movement. In fact, many regard the whole practice with a jaundiced eye. They see it as a rather crude way of gaining advantage, of driving one’s ambitions — a glaring illustration of the general lack of principles and loyalty among our leaders. As 2010 draws near, the party-hopping has become more blatant. Politicians are sniffing around for possible new alliances, while some have already jumped into other ships, letting the tide bring them where it may. It would be entertaining if it ....
