No jobs for foreigners in China — DFA
By Michaela P. del Callar 02/07/2012The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) yesterday warned Filipino jobseekers against illegal recruiters promising employment in mainland China, saying there is no demand for household service workers, teachers and musicians in the country.
In a report to the Home Office in Manila, the Philippine embassy in Beijing and consulates general in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xiamen said semi-skilled jobs in China “remain restricted and closed to foreigners.”
