Arrest warrant AGAINST Lacson OUT

Ping now a fugitive — DoJ

02/06/2010

A Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) yesterday ordered the arrest of a senator who fled abroad claiming political persecution after being accused of murdering a publicist and his driver.

The arrest warrant officially makes Sen. Panfilo Lacson a fugitive, a month after he left the country, Justice Secretary Agnes Devanadera told reporters.

Lacson, former Philippine National Police chief, flew to Hong Kong on Jan. 5 and declared earlier this week that he would not be returning soon as he expected to be arrested for the murder 10 years ago of Salvador “Bubby” Dacer.... MORE

BPO started by Erap administration, not GMA

02/06/2010

Reacting to the crowing of President Arroyo on her claimed legacy of the reported P7-billion business process outsourcing (BPO) industry which she said she had “built from scratch” and which is the major key for the Philippines to finally join the ranks of developed countries, former President Joseph Estrada’s spokesman, Margaux Salcedo yesterday, pointed out that the Arroyo administration did not build the BPO industry from scratch. It was this euphoria that they believed would carry Noynoy through, on which his campaign was grounded.

Thus it was that Aquino and his LPs copied, to the letter, the Cory campaign of 1985.... MORE

Big mistake

FRONTLINE

It was a mistake on the part of Ping Lacson not only to flee the country, but also say, in a statement to the media, that he had fled the country to evade arrest, claiming a conspiracy against him.

With the arrest warrant now issued against him, he is now deemed a “fugitive” from justice.
His publicist said Lacson is somewhere, trying to get his loyal boy, Michael Ray Aquino, to come up with a deposition that would clear Lacson of the murders of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver, Emmanuel Corbito, and tell the real tale while pointing to the real brains of the murder, which would mean framing another for the crime he is charged with....
