Erap on Anwar acquittal: Now we are both vindicated
01/10/2012Former President Joseph Estrada was elated at the news that the sodomy case against his friend former Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has been dismissed. “No other decision would have been acceptable in any real democracy. In any real democracy, the truth should set you free,” Estrada said.
The former president said that like himself, Anwar had been a victim of vicious politics. “The times are changing,” Estrada said. “I am very happy for Anwar. Now he can fully work toward the kind of democracy he dreams of for Malaysia.”.... MORE

alam mo, mahal na pangulong erap, dapat ipinaglaban mo ang 2010 na halalan eh. alam nating lahat (yung mga hindi zombies, at least) na ikaw ang tunay na nanalo. kaya ganito ang bayan eh, kasi pinababayaan ang dayaan--magmula pa sa tejeros convention. you owe it to the people to fight for their votes cast for you....sabagay, baka naging suicidal ang ganiyang paglalaban dahil alam naman natin ang hawak ng mga damuho sa ating lipunan.
