MNLF: Army special forces killed our men, not Abu Sayyaf

An informant from the Moro National Liberation Front disclosed yesterday that those killed in a recent encounter were MNLF members, and not Abu Sayaff Group members, as the Philippine Army Special Forces has been claiming.

This was posted at the www. luwaran.net Web site by an MNLF informant, who intimated that Col. Alexander Macario lied that the Sept. 11 encounter was between the AFP and the Abu Sayaff.

“You are killing us despite our ceasefire and 1996 peace agreement,” the informant protested.
