130 political parties mum on Marcos burial
05/20/2011None of the 130 political parties accredited by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has replied to Vice President Jejomar Binay’s survey letter seeking their official stand on whether or not former President Ferdinand Marcos should be given a hero’s burial.
With a June deadline ahead, Binay, who was given the responsibility to decide on the matter, hopes to get their feedback, noting it is crucial to his recommendation to President Aquino.
Binay said he “would still wait for the official stand of the political parties until this week.”
