Crabbing too early

When Noynoy Aquino decided to run for the presidency, he and his allies were one in focusing on the negative in the Arroyo government. They gloried in the fact that the media focused on the negative and against Gloria Arroyo.
Now that he is in Malacañang, he whines about media focusing on the negative aspects of his government, and even complains that the media should focus on important issues, rather than his love life.
What Noynoy will soon realize as he stays longer in Malacañang is that the criticisms will get worse, especially if the public senses that his government isn’t doing anything by way of delivering on his campaign pledges — chief of which would be the promise of change and reforms, plus the pledge to rid the government of corruption and an improved economy.
