NPC, Chinese medical group ink MoA for cancer victims

On July 14, NPC president Benny Antiporda signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the hospital director of the Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou (MCHG), Dr. Wang Huaizhong, which stipulates that two cancer patients from the Philippines would be accommodated and treated at the hospital free of charge each year.
“We are very thankful (to) the officials of the Modern Cancer Hospital headed by Dr. Wang and their Manila representative, Mr. Bennett Ho, for readily accommodating the NPC’s request for help for our less fortunate members who are cancer victims,” Antiporda said.
The Modern Cancer Hospital is part of the Bo Ai Medical Group (BAMG), one of the biggest private medical companies in mainland China that owns or manages 113 hospitals.
