Noy defends PCOS credibility as SC rules on purchase pleas

Angeles 06/12/2012President Aquino has defended the credibility of the precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines, a day before the Supreme Court takes up the cases questioning the allegedly anomalous multibillion-peso contract for supposedly defective vote counting ma-chines to be used in next year’s elections.
He insisted that the PCOS machines have been proved credible “as manifested in the results of the 2010 national elections” even as the President claimed that the country stands to benefit through the use of the automated machines and the software that was used in it.
