Islamists ready to share power in democratic Libya

TRIPOLI — Libyan Islamists, a rising political force since the fall of Moammar Kadhafi, are presenting a moderate face and expressing willingness to share power in a new democratic state.
“We believe in the need for partnerships and politics of a free state, civil and democratic,” Id al-Bannan, a prominent leader of the Muslim Brotherhood told AFP.
The Libyan branch of the Brotherhood movement is considered to be the most organized on the ground, despite it being ferociously repressed under Kadhafi’s regime.

ito nga ba ang sinasabi ko eh. kaya sinuportahan ng ibang islamic countries ang virtual pananakop sa libya ay dahil hindi nila gusto ang pagiging progresibo ni khadaffy. gusto nilang i.impose ang sharia law completely samantalang nag.resist si khadaffy dahil HE RESPECTED MORE the rights of WOMEN and children.
naku, ganyan ba si allah, nag.dedepose ng mababait sa kababaihan? kawawa na mga babae dyan sa libya. haha.
