Haitians get privacy, finally, to rest and mourn
PORT-AU-PRINCE — Finally, Suze will be able to rest, wash and stop living in proximity with the wounded, the looters and the rats. She has just entered one of the first big tents erected in the middle of Haiti’s devastated capital. Suze breathed a sigh of relief — finally, she will be able to mourn the death of her daughter, one of the more than 110,000 persons killed in last week’s massive earthquake.
