Erap unbound
The decision of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) freeing former President Joseph Estrada of legal obstacles in his bid to regain the presidency which was stolen from him in 2001 will remove uncertainties clouding the public’s mind in choosing him for the May 10 elections. The darkest cloud that hangs over Estrada’s campaign is public doubt that the current administration with its encompassing control on all arms of the government will let him fight fair and square in the political arena....
