Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Caye-tano yesterday practically con-firmed reports on the current tension now existing in the proposed alliance with Madrigal’s inclusion in the coalition ticket.
“From what I know of the issue, it’s not okay with him. He does not like the idea,” the senator said, referring to NP president and colleague Villar.
Madrigal is considered a nemesis of Villar, having been behind the filing of the ethics case against the latter in 2009 involving the funding of the C-5 road extension project which led to the Senate convening the Committee of the Whole and eventually subjected the conduct of months-long of investigation.....
