Kaya Natin (literally, We can), the “good governance” NGO headquartered at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Politics and Government (?) and headed by Harvey Keh, should probably recast itself and rethink its catchy name after that tongue lashing Keh got from the senator-judges in last Wednesday’s hearing at the Senate impeachment court. Changing the name is critical at this point, especially after Keh’s obvious prevarications and discombubulations, since it has acquired altogether different and, yes, decidedly degrading meanings. Some catchy examples have gone viral such as:
Kaya natin... magsinungaling
Kaya natin... manloko
Kaya natin... mambaboy
Kaya natin... magkunwari.... MORE
