P.5M bounty out for Palparan arrest
By Benjamin B. Pulta 12/28/2011The government has put up a bounty of half a million pesos for the capture of fugitive former Army Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan and one of his men who remain at large in connection with the pending criminal charges against them for the abduction of two student-activists.
In text messages sent to newsmen, Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said the P500,000 reward has been approved by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Palparan and retired M/Sgt. Rizal Hilario, who are co-accused in the abduction charges, have thus far eluded arrest..... MORE
