Palace urged to disclaim DND remark on revolutionary gov’t

Manalo 11/20/2011A militant solon yesterday dared Malacañang to issue a categorical statement disclaiming and dissociating itself from the statement made by the spokesman for the Department of Defense (DND) who the other day said a revolutionary government remained an option for President Aquino to restore order in the country.
In a statement, Act — Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio said the statement made by DND spokesman Zosimo Paredes reveals the dangerous, undemocratic tendencies within the DND establishment, which has historically been the main instrument responsible for the implementation of dictatorial rule.
“Malacañang should publicly disclaim and dissociate itself from the unfortunate statement made by DND spokesperson Zosimo Paredes, who was recently quoted as saying that ‘when national security is threatened or at stake, a revolutionary government is an option for the President under the Constitution,’” Tinio said..... larger plot siguro talaga na kaya pinagugulo ang bayan, yung lang sa substate eh, para excuse upang gawing dictatorial ang pamahalaan at ginagamit lang ang salitang "revolutionary" para ilayo sa stigma ng martial law.
