Of course every Filipino wants peace in our land. When there is peace, there is stability and economic progress. But what price do we have to pay just to attain peace, specifically in Mindanao, when the group or people like the MILF rebels with whom we are negotiating to attain peace are not really up to it. Can we just sit back while our brother soldiers are slaughtered, beheaded and mutilated by the same people who claim are interested to attain peace? Certainly this is double talk.
Despite the clear indications that we are being given the runaround by the MILF, it seems the leader of our country is buying the insurgents’ propaganda tactics posted in the Internet. Nothing can be more transparent than the bodies of 19 young soldiers killed by the MILF in Basilan and seven more bodies killed by them in Zamboanga Sibugay. And not to forget that previously, 14 dead bodies of our soldiers were found with their heads removed and the perpetrators are the same people who want to talk peace with the government..... MORE

Peace of the land would have prevailed except that Erap was ousted upon the maneuvers of the evil society." \
