Clearly, the move of Noynoy Aquino and his allies, specifically through the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) to damage the Catholic bishops’ credibility, reputation and the moral clout they are said to hold over their flock, was purely political. And no doubt Noynoy’s vengeance wreaked on them not only for the call of Butuan Bishop Juan de Dios Pueblos for him to resign as he is unfit for the presidency, but for their not supporting him and his administration along with their criticisms against him.

This could gleaned from yesterday’s Senate hearing where it was proved by the bishops that all they really got by way of vehicles from PCSO during Gloria Arroyo’s watch, were pick-ups, with some of them even being second hand, which is really a far cry from what PCSO Chairman Margie Juico was portraying and leaked out to the media.

The Yellow media broke the story and quoted Juico as the source of the story..... MORE

My ideology is way advanced but simple - there is no room for any religion in it thereby avoiding these kinds of issues.

Quevedo is notorious and so is De Dios Pueblos. It may not have been an altar boys behind but it was a lot of behinds that perrished when PCSO went into default with hospital bills that went to buying De Dios Pueblos's P1.7M ride.

The other Bishops they meant well, the line acrosss the sand is this - They belong to the richest church why not ask from the Vatican wag na makisawsaw sa pondo na nakalaan para sa mga maralita. It may not be illegal or unconstitutional but it is indeed imoral.

Morality is their bread and butter, Imams can likewise preach and do charity but if it came down to actual help as they claim they do - doctors, dentists and nurses not only heal but also bring relief goods. Religous groups may now stop being charitable, it will momentarily cripple the work for the poor but not kill it and it will emerge stronger and more effective. These Bishops just go over to these depressed areas in style, wave like a rock star and then the unholy language inside the car on the way back to their fabulous residences, perpertual band aid solution by design. WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE ALREADY, mas kilala namin kayo kay sa sarili nyo.

Communism is the solution. It gets rid of these friars who are stuck in the spannish colonial times. Look at their names. The New Peoples Army conducts its own Civil Military Operations for the true indigents, their number one clients who cannot afford to go to the cities to beg at PCSO. Last week a medic escorted by a squad attended to a preganant woman and successfuly delivered a baby boy, the infant was then christened after the front commander. They then went to a sick man with TB on the next Barrio 2 hills away, they can only do so much and gave the man some medicine to ease his suffering. They walked with a heavy load and no PCSO will donate to their cause. To those readers out there, who is "the" genuine at heart, is it the Communist Freedom Fighter, or these Friars?

Are you fit for guirilla warfare? Because it is not a picnic. Sleep everywhere, defacte in a plastic bag and carry it, food scarce, sleep deprived, hunted by security forces, exposed to the elements, away from loved ones, the boredom of monotomy then punctuated with mortal combat that comes with unadulterated sheer adrenaline rushing fight for survival with limited ammunition and harsh terrain. But then, there is the few precious fruits given as a gift by the new mother. What little she had she gave... that experience makes Guirilla warfare not so bad to the bones. The smile on the children upon return to the camp is rejuvinating. The water refreshing while reflecting on the real threat of being ambushed by soldiers and you got away and completed your mission that day. Another day in a few hours. Time to rest amogst snoring and belching kamote comrades, happy to be with them.
