$7.5 million compensation to Marcos’ victims

Malacanang yesterday considered as a breakthrough the recent United States federal court’s approval of the compensation to human rights violation victims under the Marcos regime which was reportedly amounting to $7.5 million.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte told reporters that this is certainly a welcome development for the Aquino administration and the government is currently looking into it to see how it can go about this matter..... MORE
