Baby, children among 12 killed in Abu slaughter By Gina Peralta-Elorde 02/28/2010 Twelve persons, including three children and a one-year-old baby, were massacred while 17 others were wounded after a big group of suspected Abu Sayyaf bandits and members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) “lost command” pillaged a civilian community in Maluso town in Basilan. Lt. Gen. Ben Dolorfino, commander of the military’s Western Mindanao Command (WesMinCom), blamed the attack on “rido” or clan war. He said a group of 15 bandits led by a Dick Alao raided the Tubigan village around 5:45 a.m.  Rear Admiral Alex Pama, head of the military’s Joint Task Force Trillium, said the fatalities included four children aged one, nine, 10, and 11 years....
