2nd National Congress of the Clergy TABLETS OF STONE Larry Faraon, OP 01/24/2010   Tomorrow around seven to eight thousand bishops and priests shall gather at the World Trade Center to commence a five-day congress of the clergy. Last year’s congress also was a success but this year is more significant, being the Year of Priests for the entire Catholic Church. Preacher for the Papal Household, Rev. Fr. Raneiro Cantalamesa, OFM Capuchin, a frequent visitor to the Philippine Church, is here to keynote the congress with five conferences. The Philippine Church hierarchy shall be there in full force together with the Papal Nuncio, the little pope in the country, Most Rev. Edward Joseph Adams will be celebrating the opening Eucharistic celebration and delivering the special message of Pope Benedict XVI.
