Let me put it another way: Would Noynoy even have stood a chance of becoming president of the republic if his mother, Cory Aquino, did not die when she did? For that matter, would Cory have become president if her husband, Ninoy, did not die the way he did and at the time when there was public hatred for the Marcos regime? And with Cory as president, would her brother-in-law Butz Aquino have become a senator of the republic?.... MORE
