chance in running for the Senate seat and being shortlisted by the
administration party if he was not related to Noynoy, who sits in
Malacañang?For that matter, would the presidential sister, Kris Aquino, even think of running for the governorship in Tarlac, if she did not have Noynoy as her brother in Malacañang?
Let me put it another way: Would Noynoy even have stood a chance of becoming president of the republic if his mother, Cory Aquino, did not die when she did? For that matter, would Cory have become president if her husband, Ninoy, did not die the way he did and at the time when there was public hatred for the Marcos regime?
