AFP, PNP on full alert for Labor Day, ADB meet
By Mario J. Mallari and Gina Peralta-Elorde 05/01/2012The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will be deploying anti-bomb and anti-riot personnel as part of its “robust and intensified” security preparations for the celebration of Labor Day throughout the country.
AFP spokesman Col. Arnulfo Marcelo Burgos Jr. announced that the AFP will be deploying K-9 and Explosive and Ordnance Disposal teams from the Philippine Army, the Philippine Air Force, the Philippine Navy and the AFP General Headquarters and Headquarters Support Command (GHQ-HSC) in Camp Aguinaldo.
