Suspect in Tribune reporter’s attack yields

One of the suspects in last week’s beating and shooting of the Tribune reporter Fernan Angeles, who is still recuperating inside a hospital in Pasig City, voluntarily surrendered to police authorities over the weekend, leaving at least two more suspects in the run.

Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said Faisal Ragung Sancopan surrendered to Rizal police authorities along Westbank Road in Taytay at around 5 p.m. Saturday.
