EPD officials forbidden to make anymore comments on case of Tribune reporter

Malacaang has ordered a gag order on Eastern Police District (EPD) officials who have apparently turned Tribune reporter Fernan Angeles from being a victim of a near-fatal stabbing to being a criminal, himself, in its ongoing investigation into the attempted homicide in Pasig City.

I saw it only last night, (EPD) making announcement on the seeming focus on Fernan being a suspect rather than focusing on the alleged mastermind in the attempt on the life of Fernan Angeles, presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said. Angeles works the Malacaang beat for The Daily Tribune.

Lacierda said he immediately pointed out this discrepancy to Interior and Local Government Secretary Jessie Robredo who told him that he has instructed (EPD) not to make any comments anymore..... MORE
