Irony of ironies. The man they wanted removed from office is the very same man they now pin their hope to deliver to them the Cojuangco-Aquino family-owned Hacienda Luisita.

Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Teodoro Casio yesterday called on Chief Justice Renato Corona to tell the Senate impeachment court trying his case all he knew about the demand by the family of President Aquino for a P10-billion compensation for Hacienda Luisita.

Casio, one of the 188 lawmakers who signed the impeachment complaint against the Chief Justice, said Corona should expose the Palace emissaries who applied pressure on the Supreme Court to overturn its 14-0 decision in favor of the farmer-tenants of Hacienda Luisita..... MORE
