"The citizens’ watch group first made the call in yesterday’s first jam-packed Multi-Stakeholders Round Table Dialog with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and CAC on the 2013 elections. Issued jointly by the Center for People Empowerment in Governance (CenPEG), NAMFREL, the Philippine Computer Society Foundation, TransparentElections.org.ph, and other groups, the AES Watch statement asked that Smartmatic be disqualified from further participating in the bidding for a new election technology." \
