Prosecutors want charges filed against LPG group
By Benjamin B. Pulta 11/05/2011Filing of criminal charges has been recommended by prosecutors against a party-list representative and officers of his group.
In a 10-page resolution released yesterday, the Department of Justice (DoJ) found probable cause to charge Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers Association Inc. (LPGMAI) party-list Rep. Arnel Ty and other officers of his group for cartelization charges.
They face charges for violating Republic Act 8479 (Oil Deregulation Law) and Revised Penal Code.
Recommended to be charged were Rene Rossel, Danilo Chua, Alison Sy, Ronnie Sevillana, Mar Dave Tang, Bonifacio Eleria, Virginia Dave Cid and Antonio del Rosario..... MORE
